Relaxation MassageRelaxation massage sessions feature a blend of techniques to best address the clients needs and desired outcome. Techniques commonly used include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Technique, Soft Tissue Release and Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage. Besides providing sress relief, common injuries can also be addressed in these sessions. At the beginning of each session a few minutes are spent checking-in with the client to see how they are feeling on that particular day and what problem areas they would like to work on. Together, we decide on how to spend the massage time to meet the session goals. Options for the session include a full body massage or working on a specific problem area. Check-in time does not cut into the client's massage time. Relaxation MassageGentle, soothing massage providing stress relief while focusing on specific areas of tension. Long strokes, kneading and friction strokes calm the nervous system, relax muscles and increase the circulation of blood and lymph. Deep Tissue MassageFocused work on one or two body parts, accessing deeper muscles and releasing fascial restrictions. Slow strokes and firm pressure are used to release chronic holding patterns. Common conditions such as tendonitis, carpal tunnel and back pain and stiffness respond well to deep tissue massage. Sports MassageFocuses on specific muscles used by an athlete. Restores balance, increases flexibility and enhances athletic performance. Common sports injuries such as sprains and strains respond well to massage.
